Portals Plus Announces New “Premier Seal” Retrofit Drain

Portals Plus announced the addition of the Premier Seal to their Retrofit Drain offerings. The new product, made available to wholesale roofing and plumbing distributors on Jul. 13, 2009, is available in three-, four-, five- and six-inch sizes.

The Premier Seal is an expandable rubber seal and is said to further complement the Portals Plus Retrofit Drain category. The seal is activated by the use of a screw driver, which in turn comprises a water-tight compression seal to the existing PVC or Cast Iron piping. The product is comprised of a white ABS plastic casing to allow for greater visibility during installation. The Plus Seal has been developed in accordance with testing parameters set forth by ANSI and SPRI.
