Duro-Last® Roofing Launches “White Equals Green” Sustainable Roofing Campaign
Duro-Last Roofing Inc. recently introduced its “White Equals Green” campaign. This new sustainability initiative promotes the white Duro-Last Cool Zone® membrane as one of the best “green” roofing choices for commercial roof installations. The campaign includes a new website – www.white-equals-green.com – where a brochure and a Question/Answer document that discusses many of the issues surrounding PVC building materials, may be downloaded.
“The demand for sustainable building products is driving the purchase of all building materials, including roofing,” said Steve Ruth, vice president of sales and marketing. “Duro-Last has a well-established history with respect to highly-reflective roof membranes that help buildings become more energy efficient. We are committed to being the industry leader when it comes to producing environmentally-friendly roofing systems.”
Duro-Last’s bright white Cool Zone roofing membrane is the “white” in the campaign, while the “green” refers to: Money (that can be saved with the Cool Zone roofing system – from reducing energy bills to preserving building components); Sustainability (contributing to a building’s green footprint due to closed-loop manufacturing, long-term performance and end-of-life membrane recyclability); and Garden roof membrane (one of the best roofing choice under a garden roof system).
